White Gloss

This semi-translucent, white gloss glaze is on the cooler end of the white spectrum. Also, please note that this is not a flawlessly white glaze. Due to its translucency, and the inevitable impurities in the minerals that make up the clay and glaze, combined with the chemical reactions that take place in a 2300° gas kiln, there are always a few small dark blemishes on every piece, particularly small lamps and accessories. The spots don't detract from the piece, they only enhance the handmade nature of the work.
